Challenging Challenges

THE SHIFT SERIES in association with The Global Education and Leadership Foundation hosted a youth conference. The participants experienced, explored and engaged with an eclectic mix of international and Indian speakers who invigorated and inspired them to break boundaries with innovative ideas. The talks were interspersed with cutting edge performances. Attendees had an opportunity to interact with delegates, professors, educationists and students from the world’s leading universities and organizations.

THE SHIFT: Inspiring Change

New Delhi – 8th February 2014
Our first conference was all about “Making the Shift” where we inspired New Delhi’s smart and brilliant young adults to make a SHIFT in their thinking, perceptions and ideas about their lives and their future. THE SHIFT had a mix of amazing speakers, such as Dr. Karan Singh, Shantanu Moitra, Ani Choying among other highly respected thinkers, achievers and teachers – whose inspirational message was interspersed with fun, creativity and highly talented performances.

FEARLESS WOMEN: Balance of Power in Relationships

New Delhi – 23rd April 2014

This conference hosted an array of speakers from the world of literature, filmmaking, music and social activism. The audience was inspired by the journey of Sampat Pal Devi, founder of Gulabi Gang; Laxmi gave insight into the struggles faced by members of her transgender community; Dr Dev Dutt Pattnaik used mythology to highlight the important role of women. Shubha Mudgal also treated the audience to a talk and performance.
